Woman Injured In Overnight Woodbury Crash
WOODBURY, NY - A woman was injured in an overnight crash that sent her off the road and wedged between a retaining wall and utility pole on Woodbury Road early Sunday morning.
Firefighters and police officers responded to Woodbury Road near the intersection of Woodtree Drive in Woodbury, New York just after 1AM on Sunday morning for a crash involving a Prius that left the roadway.
The initial report was that the woman was trapped in her car, but police officers arriving on the scene were able to safely remove the injured woman from the car. The car was wedged between a retaining wall and a utility pole.

The driver was transported to Nassau University Medical Center with unknown injuries.
There is no word on the cause of the crash at the time of this article’s publication.
