Queens Drive-By Shooting Kills One, Injures One
A drive-by shooting claimed the life of a 34-year old man and injured another man on 146th Terrace in Queens, New York early Sunday afternoon.
NYPD responded to area of 146th Terrace and Guy R Brewer Boulevard in Queens, New York for reports of a drive-by shooting at around 12:30 PM on Sunday afternoon. After police officers arrived, they confirmed that two people were struck by bullets fired from a silver vehicle that fled the scene.
According to police, the unidentified 34-year old man was struck in the torso after bullets began to fly. He was rushed to Jamaica Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The other victim, a 28-year old man was shot in the foot and transported to Jamaica Hospital also in a stable condition.
This shooting is still actively under investigation by detectives. No immediate arrests have been made.
