Plainview Crash Injures 1, Leaves SUV Resting On Hood of Another Vehicle

A crash on Roxbury Avenue left one person hurt, and an SUV propped up on the hood of another vehicle late Wednesday afternoon in Plainview, New York.

The Plainview Volunteer Fire Department responded to the intersection of Roxbury Avenue and Plymouth Road in Plainview for a report of a crash between two vehicles. After arriving on scene, firefighters and police found the red Expedition resting on the hood of the white Acura SUV.



Firefighters had to use blocks and other gear to stabilize the Expedition while they worked on securing the vehicle.

At least one person was injured and transported to a local area hospital as a result of this crash. There is no word on the condition of the injured person.

The cause of the crash is currently being investigated by the Nassau County Police Department.
