MoMA Double Stabbing Suspect Arrested In Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, PA - Police in Philadelphia arrested the suspect that stabbed two Museum of Modern Art employees in Manhattan, New York early Tuesday morning.

Police say Gary Cabana, 60, was denied entry into the museum after his membership was revoked days earlier. After becoming upset that he was denied entry, Cabana jumped over the reception desk and begin stabbing two Museum of Modern Art employees on Saturday afternoon.

A 24-year old woman was stabbed in the back and neck and a 24-year old man was stabbed in the left collar bone. Both victims are expected to survive and are currently recovering.

Cabana was arrested at a Greyhound station in Philadelphia at around 1:35AM on Tuesday morning. Police say security spotted the suspect and immediately alerted the police. Cabana was taken into custody without further incident.
