Man Stabbed At East Farmingdale Taco Bell, Suspect Arrested

EAST FARMINGDALE, NY - A stabbing in the parking lot of a Long Island Taco Bell left a 19-year-old man injured early Thursday night. Police have arrested a suspect in the stabbing.

Suffolk County Police 1st Precinct officers responded to the Taco Bell at 1981 Broadhollow Rd, Farmingdale, NY 11735 for a report of a man that was stabbed outside the fast-food restaurant in the parking lot. Officers arrived on scene at around 7:20PM and discovered a 19-year-old victim with a stab wound.

Police say that the suspect, John Davis-Hernandez, 20, of Bay Shore, confronted the victim and an 18-year-old woman who knew him at the Taco Bell and stabbed the victim.

Suffolk County Police 3rd Precinct officers responded to Davis-Hernandez’s home in Bay Shore where they located and took him into custody after he surrendered.

The victim was transported to Nassau University Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.

Davis-Hernandez is charged with Assault 2nd Degree and is being held at the 1st Precinct. He is scheduled to be arraigned later Friday at the First District Court in Central Islip, New York.
