Man Seriously Injured After Striking Utility Pole In North Lindenhurst

NORTH LINDENHURST, NY - A man was seriously injured in a single-car crash involving a utility pole on Wellwood Avenue in North Lindenhurst, New York late Wednesday night.
Police say the victim was traveling southbound on Wellwood Avenue at 9:56PM on Wednesday night when he lost control of the vehicle, crossed into northbound lanes of traffic and slammed into a utility pole in front of 756 Wellwood Ave.
The 37-year old victim was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center with serious injuries.
Investigators are asking anyone with information to call the First Squad at 631-854-8152.
