Levittown Priest Under Investigation For Child Pornography

LEVITTOWN, NY - A priest at St. Bernard’s Roman Catholic Church has been barred from services while the Nassau County District Attorney’s office investigates possible child pornography charges.

Father Joseph Nohs, a priest at St. Bernard’s Roman Catholic Church on Hempstead Turnpike in Levittown, New York is currently under investigation by the Nassau County District Attorney’s office. According to the Diocese of Rockville Centre, Father Nohs is not allowed to present himself as a priest while the investigation is being conducted.

According to News12, a Diocesan spokesman commented that the diocese is not aware of any other sexual misconduct allegations against the priest.
