Intense Fire Destroys Melville Garage

A fire destroyed the garage of a Melville home early Thursday morning as firefighters battled the intense flames.

Firefighters were met with intense flames ripping through an attached garage as they responded to the home on Wolf Hill Road in Melville, New York. Officials say that the fire broke out in the garage some time before 1AM. Multiple fire departments battled the blaze to prevent it from spreading to the house and causing more damage.

The fire, which resulted in a collapse of part of the garage, is currently being investigated to determine the cause. There were no reported injuries as a result of this blaze.

A total of five fire departments from the surrounding area responded to battle the fire.
