Firefighters Battle Multiple Alarm Blaze in Farmingdale

Multiple fire departments responded to Eastern Parkway in Farmingdale, New York early Tuesday night for a large 4-alarm fire.

Firefighters from at least eight fire departments in the area responded to 340 Eastern Parkway in Farmingdale, New York around 7PM for a report of a large fire.

Prior to the fire departments arriving on scene, Nassau County Police 8th Precinct officers arrived on scene after multiple 911 calls were placed in regards to the fire.

As the fire department arrived on scene and began to set up their firefighting operations, the second alarm was raised, requesting additional manpower to the scene to help fight the fire. The fire reached 4-alarms before it was under control.

There is no word on how the fire started at this time or any reported injuries from this fire.

Fire Marshals and Investigators from multiple agencies are currently investigating the cause of this large fire.
