Early Morning Vehicle Fire Extinguished in West Babylon

WEST BABYLON, N.Y. - Firefighters extinguished a fully-involved car fire on Eyre Place Sunday morning.

At around 6:00 a.m. on Sunday, the North Babylon Fire Company was dispatched to a reported vehicle fire at the dead end of Eyre Place.

Upon arrival, Suffolk County Police officers encountered a sedan fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters arrived shortly after and successfully extinguished the blaze.

No injuries were reported, and the scene was brought under control.

There is no word on the cause of the fire at this time.
