3 Hurt After Vehicle Overturns In Bethpage

BETHPAGE, NY - At least three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash that left an SUV rolled over onto its side on Saturday afternoon.

At around 3:45PM on Saturday, first responders responded to the intersection of Stewart Avenue and Balsam Place after a two-vehicle crash caused an SUV to roll over onto its side on a residential street.

Firefighters from the Bethpage Fire Department, alongside Nassau County Police, extricated the driver and a back seat passenger of the rolled-over SUV. Firefighters cut the windshield of the vehicle and were able to remove the trapped person from the car.

At least one of the three people injured in the crash was transported to a local area hospital. The extent of the injuries to both victims is currently unknown, but is believed to be minor.
