Protesters Demand Resignation Of Rep. George Santos Outside His Queens Office

DOUGLASTON, NY - Dozens of protesters gathered outside of Representative George Santos’ Queens congressional district office on Saturday afternoon amid the recent revelations that he fabricated his resume.

The New York Republican, House Representative George Santos, came under intense fire from residents living in his congressional district on Saturday. Santos, whose resume has been scrutinized by both Republicans and Democrats alike, was the target of many chants including “Liar, Liar, Pants On Fire” and “Kick Him Out” by protestors and residents living inside of his congressional district.

Santos was recently elected to represent New York’s 3rd Congressional District, which includes parts of Northeastern Queens and Northern Nassau County.

About 100 protesters gathered in front of Santos’ office located at 242-09 Northern Blvd, Douglaston, NY 11363. The office sat vacantly and still displayed former Congressman Thomas Suozzi’s banner on the front.

Democratic Assemblyman Edward Braunstein was joined by Robert Zimmerman in a press conference at the site of the protest. Zimmerman was defeated by Santos in the 2022 elections for the 3rd Congressional District of New York.
