23-Year Old Woman Shot By Ex-Boyfriend On Long Island

A 23-year old woman was shot by her ex-boyfriend after an altercation took place late Tuesday night in Yaphank, New York.

Suffolk County Police are searching for the ex-boyfriend that shot a 23-year old woman during an altercation at the Bartlett Commons, located off of Colonial Woods Drive West in Yaphank, New York.

Police say that they were notified of the shooting through a 911 call at around 9:30PM. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital, according to Suffolk County Police.
