14-Year-Old Stabbed In Stomach Near Queens Middle School
JAMAICA, QUEENS, NY - A 14-year-old was stabbed in the stomach during a dispute with another teenager near the corner of Hillside Avenue and 181st Street on Wednesday afternoon.
NYPD responded to the McDonalds near the corner of Hillside Avenue and 181st Street in Jamaica just before 1:30PM for a report of a dispute between teenagers at the location. The 911 caller reported that one of the people involved in the dispute was armed with a knife.
NYPD officers arrived on scene at around 1:30PM and advised that they had a 14-year-old victim who was suffering from a knife wound in the stomach from being stabbed outside of the McDonald’s at 181-25 Hillside Avenue, Queens, NY 11432. FDNY EMS arrived and treated the victim, transporting him to a local area hospital for further treatment.
Police say a 16-year-old, approximately 5’4”, wearing a turban and a black mask stabbed the victim and fled on foot. NYPD officers searched the area for evidence and started an investigation into the stabbing.
Officials say that the suspect was known to the victim.
The stabbing occurred across the street from the Susan B. Anthony Academy, a middle school in the area.
