1 Injured in Harlem Shooting

A person was injured in a shooting late Tuesday afternoon in Harlem, New York.

Police responded to the intersection of W 125th Street and Malcom X Boulevard in Harlem, New York for reports of a shooting just after 3pm. After arriving on the scene, NYPD found one person shot at least once, laying on the sidewalk. Police officers requested paramedics to respond “immediately” to the scene.

According to witnesses, the shooter fled the scene in a Grey BMW, last seen headed east on 126th Street. Police are searching for a black male wearing a black shirt.

NYPD issued a level one mobilization and requested for backup to locate the shooter who fled the scene. The victim was transported to a local area hospital in an unknown condition.
