1 Dead, 2 Critical After North Massapequa Multiple Stabbing

NORTH MASSAPEQUA, NY - A woman was killed and two other people are critical after a multiple stabbing in North Massapequa, New York early Friday night.

Police responded to North Manhattan Avenue before 7:00PM on Friday night for multiple victims who were stabbed. Police say two women were stabbed by a 34-year old man. The two women were 22-years old and 29-years old, according to investigators. After stabbing both women, the man attempted to kill himself, but was unsuccessful.

Both the victims and the assailant were taken to local area hospitals. The 29-year old woman was pronounced dead at the hospital. The 22-year old victim remains in a critical condition. The assailant also remains in a critical condition.
