Woman Hit By Car In South Oakland

PITTSBURGH, PA - Emergency crews responded to the intersection of Boulevard of the Allies and Dawson Street in the South Oakland neighborhood of Pittsburgh late Thursday morning for a call of a woman struck by a car.

Emergency services got the call at around 10:35AM and responded to the scene of the collision. The 30-year old woman sustained a leg injury after being hit by a vehicle near the intersection. There is no word on the condition of the victim at this time.

The driver remained on the scene following the collision. No criminality is suspected in this crash.

Boulevard of the Allies was closed eastbound from Juliet Street to Dawson Street while emergency services operated at the scene. Traffic has since been reopened in the area.
