A Queens man has been arrested after heated argument led to shots being fired at a posh Long Island mall in Manhasset, New York late Saturday afternoon. Nassau County Police responded in force to the Americana Manhasset mall on Northern Boulevard after shots were fired in front of a store.

Yuri Oluh, 21, of Jamaica, was arrested by Nassau County Police nearby on Searingtown Road and Northern Boulevard. It was discovered that the revolver that Oluh possessed was ditched in a nearby restaurant’s bathroom.

The shooter is still at large and police are investigating the circumstances leading up to the shooting.

Witnesses emotionally stated, “We thought it was an active shooter situation…” and “We had to barricade ourselves in the stores. I’m still shaking.”

There were no reported injuries from the shooting.

Oluh has been charged with three counts of felony criminal possession of a weapon.
