Police Stop Pursuit Suspect in Syosset

Nassau County Highway Patrol officers stopped a pursuit suspect in Syosset, New York Monday morning.

A driver that failed to yield to Nassau County Highway Patrol officers attempting to stop the vehicle led multiple police vehicles on a chase that ended near South Oyster Bay Road in Syosset, New York.

A large police presence was seen surrounding the late model grey Nissan sedan in the parking lot of the Syosset Public Library on South Oyster Bay Road. Police officers from the Highway Patrol Bureau were seen searching the vehicle after the suspect driving was taken into custody.

There is no word on the reason behind the suspect fleeing from police, or the charges that have been brought against them.
