House Fire Breaks Out In Valley Stream

VALLEY STREAM, NY - Firefighters responded to a home on Hewlett Drive for a fire that spread from the kitchen into the attic late Friday afternoon.
The Hewlett Fire Department was called just before 3:00PM on Friday to respond to a reported house fire on Hewlett Drive, just south of Lawrence Court in Valley Stream, New York.
When fire crews arrived on the scene, they discovered a kitchen fire that spread to the attic of the two-story home. Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the fire.

The Lawrence-Cedarhurst Fire Department also responded to assist at the scene.
There were no injuries reported from this fire.
