Flaming SUV Stops Short of Copiague Home After 4 Car Crash

A four car crash on Great Neck Road in Copiague, New York sent a flaming SUV onto the front yard of a home, just stopping short of the front doors early Wednesday night.

At least 4 people were injured after a four car crash occurred near the intersection of Great Neck Road and Dixon Avenue in Copiague at around 8:40PM. Multiple fire departments responded to the crash where an SUV caught fire and began fully engulfed with flames.

The initial two car crash that involved the SUV caused a chain reaction crash between two other vehicles.

The flaming SUV rolled from the road onto the front yard of a home, stopping just shy of the front doors.

Four people were able to escape injury from the crash, but were transported from the scene to local area hospitals.
