Driver Hurt After Crashing Into Long Island Restaurant

A driver has been hospitalized after an early Monday morning crash that caused serious structural damage to a restaurant in Lindenhurst, New York.

A driver was hospitalized with only minor injuries after their Infinity Coupe collided with the side of a restaurant in Lindenhurst, New York overnight crash Monday morning. Suffolk County Police responded to the scene at 12:10am, where the coupe caused significant damage to the side of Island Soul Restaurant at 105 West Sunrise Highway in Lindenhurst.

The driver was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

The restaurant was empty at the time of the collision.
