Driver Flees After Flipping Car in Eltingville

NYPD and FDNY responded to Ridgewood Avenue in Staten Island for a car that was overturned on its roof early Monday morning. The driver of the overturned car fled the scene after colliding with multiple vehicles on the street.

Emergency services responded to Ridgewood Avenue in the Eltingville section of Staten Island at around 9:15am Monday morning for reports of a traffic collision involving an overturned vehicle. Upon arriving on the scene, a red Ford Escape with Virginia plates was found on its roof in the middle of the street. At least two other vehicles sustained damage from the collision.

The driver of the Ford Escape fled the scene on foot after striking a Black Mustang and Jeep Grand Cherokee.

NYPD are currently investigating the crash.
