LEVITTOWN, NY - Crumbl Cookies, a nationwide bakery that specializes in gourmet cookies with unique flavors, has just opened its first location in Levittown, New York to the public on Friday.

With over 600 locations in the United States, Crumbl Cookies has just debuted its first location on Long Island early Friday morning. The chain, which only has six unique types of cookies on a rotating menu each week, has made its move into the Nassau Mall Shopping Center located at 3601 Hempstead Tpke, Levittown, NY 11756.

Crumbl Cookies opened its first-ever physical location in Logan, Utah in 2017. Since then, the chain has become viral on social media and popular in over 600 locations throughout the United States.

The Levittown location was opened by owner Tara Costa, a Bethpage native that starred on NBC’s “The Biggest Loser” in 2009, finishing in third place. Costa and Lori Rung, the co-owner, stood alongside the Levittown Chamber of Commerce, Assemblyman John Mikulin, Legislator Steve Rhoads, Nassau County Police Eighth Precinct Deputy Inspector Palazzola, and members of the Wantagh-Levittown Volunteer Ambulance Corps as they were presented with a citation and a certificate of recognition for the business.

A line of about 50-75 eager customers wrapped around the side and rear of the shopping mall.

The Levittown location plans to operate its app after February 22nd, 2023, allowing customers to order ahead and order delivery for the cookies.

Crumbl Cookies offers a weekly rotating menu of six unique flavors. The opening week’s menu consists of; Milk Chocolate Chip, Sugar, Kentucky Cake Butter, Chocolate Cake, Peanut Butter Banana, Classic Pink Sugar, and a limited-time mystery cookie that is only available at select locations.

In the near future, the company plans to open a Smithtown, New York location. There has been no information on a timeline for that store’s opening at this time.
