Burnt Circuit Sparks Small Garage Fire

Pittsburgh firefighters responded to Oakland Avenue for a report of a garage fire early Saturday morning.

Just before 8:30am, Pittsburgh Fire Department, Pittsburgh Police, and Pittsburg EMS responded to Oakland Avenue for a reported garage fire. Upon arriving on the scene, fire crews found smoke coming from the second floor of thee detached garage that was located in the rear of the property.

After an investigation, the cause of the smoke was determined to be a burnt ballast inside of the garage.
