Bethpage Schools Lockdown Amid Threat

Police responded in force to all schools in the Bethpage School District late Friday morning after a threat was made.

Just after 9AM on Friday, Bethpage Schools went on lockdown after a reported threat was made. A large presence of Nassau County Police were seen at the Bethpage High School located on Cherry Avenue in Bethpage, New York.

Bethpage Schools were on lockdown for a little over an hour before it was lifted just after 10AM.

The nature of the threat is unknown at this time.
