At Least 1 Firefighter Injured in Hicksville Crash

At least one firefighter was injured in a crash involving a fire department vehicle late Monday evening in Hicksville, New York.

Multiple departments rushed to the intersection of Old Country Road and Jerusalem Avenue for a report of a fire department vehicle involved in a collision with injuries at the scene. A Levittown Fire Department sports utility vehicle was hit when traveling through an intersection by a van. The Hicksville Fire Department and Nassau County Police Department responded to the scene to attend to any injuries.

At least one firefighter was injured in the crash.

The Nassau County Police Department and Levittown Fire Department will be investigating the cause of the collision.
