Ambulette Crashes Through Dialysis Center, Driver Injured

HICKSVILLE, NY - An ambulette driver was injured after crashing through the front of a dialysis center, causing major damage, in Delco Plaza late Thursday afternoon.

Just before 1:30PM, first responders rushed to 17 E Old Country Rd, Hicksville, NY 11801 after an ambulette lost control and crashed through the front wall of the DaVita dialysis center located in the Delco Plaza shopping center.

The crash caused heavy damage and finally came to a stop completely inside the building.

The driver of the ambulette suffered minor injuries and was transported to a local area hospital for further medical attention.

It is unclear if anybody inside the building was injured as a result of the crash at this time.
