3 Hurt In East Meadow Armored Truck Crash

A Brinks armored truck collided with two vehicles on Newbridge Road in East Meadow early Wednesday evening, injuring three people.

Nassau County Police responded to the intersection of Newbridge Road and Bush Street in East Meadow early Wednesday evening after a Brinks money transported armored truck collided with two vehicles.

The force of the crash sent the armored truck and an SUV crashing through a fence to the side yard of a residence.

Three people were injured as a result of the crash. One person sustained serious injuries, but is in a stable condition.

Sources from the scene confirm that the armored truck was carrying over $90,000 at the time of the crash. A second armored truck was brought to the scene to continue transporting the money.
