Police Investigating $2,100 Credit Card Fraud at Suffolk County Store

HUNTINGTON STATION, NY – Suffolk County Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying and locating two individuals who used a stolen credit card to make a fraudulent purchase at a local store last year.

Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives say that on March 26, 2024, at approximately 1:10 p.m., a man and a woman used a stolen credit card to buy a MacBook from Best Buy, located at 148 Walt Whitman Road in Huntington Station.

The stolen credit card transaction resulted in a loss of more than $2,100.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about the suspects or the crime to contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential.
